Objectives to cover:

  1. To increase awareness of association between
    red meat consumption and breast cancer risk
    amongst females over 35 years old in NI, by
    50% by 2026 through health warning labels.

  2. To reduce red meat consumption to no more than three cooked portions (70g per portion) per week amongst 40% of females aged 35 years and over in NI by 2030.

  3. To ensure Food Standards Agency and Public Health Agency collaborate to produce three possible image-and-text health warning labels to be distributed to red meat labelling departments within NI by 2023, as guidance for what needs to be included on breast cancer warning labels.
