Learning Outcomes
1. Analyse and evaluate a range of key international emerging (macro-environment) themes and make a critical assessment of their significance for organisations.
2. Synthesise and critically analyse a range of key emerging micro-environment themes: making a critical assessment of their significance for a sector or industry.
3. Evaluate and propose international strategic marketing responses to the key emerging themes judged to have the greatest potential impact on organisations.
4. Critically analyse and judge the importance of a range of emerging themes to an international organisation.
5. Critically evaluate methods by which marketing professional can anticipate and adapt to change.
Assessment Overview
The assessment for this module consists of two Components:
Element 1: Individual reflection on the group task25% (1,000 words)
Element 2: An individual assignment for an international organisation 75% (3,000 words +/- 10%)
Please note: in order to pass this module, you must achieve an overall mark of 50%. For each Component, 1 and 2, you must have a minimum mark of 40%.
A minimum mark of 40% in each Component will mean that you fail this module.
Please note that you have to submit both Components.
Element 1
This assessment is designed to address learning outcomes 4 and 5:
LO4: Critically analyze and judge the importance of a range of emerging themes to an international organization.
LO5: Critically evaluate methods by which the marketing professional can anticipate and adapt to change.
Element 2
This component is designed to address LOs 1-3:
LO1: Analyse and evaluate a range of key international emerging (macro-environment) themes and make a critical assessment of their significance for organisations.
LO2: Synthesise and critically analyse a range of key emerging micro-environment themes: making a critical assessment of their significance for a sector or industry.
LO3: Evaluate and propose international strategic marketing responses to the key emerging themes judged to have the greatest potential impact on organisations.
